KimyiBo, born in Korea in 1980 is an artist-mother. She studied fine arts (painting and printmaking) at University of Pennsylvania, USA and Seoul National University, Korea. From the beginning of her study, prints and artist book have been her preferred medium. She has exhibited in number of spaces in Seoul and Minneapolis. She is also a passionate teacher of Asian calligraphy. Leading a life full of abrupt turns and breaks, Kimyibo uses art as a way of coping with transitions.

Née en 1980 à Seoul, KimyiBo est une ‘mère-artiste’. Elle a étudié les Beaux-Arts à l’University of Pennsylvania et à la Seoul National University. Depuis le début, l’impression et les livres d’artiste étaient ses matières preférées. Elle a exposé dans de nombreux lieux d’exposition à Minneapolis et Seoul. Elle est aussi enseignante passionnée de calligraphie asiatique. En menant une vie pleine de virages abrupts et d’interruptions, KimyiBo utilise l’art comme un moyen de faire face aux transitions.
